Metrology Technician_TS​/SCI Polygraph

• As a Tier 2 Metrology Technician, the work you’ll do at GDIT supports the mission of our customer.
• Develops and maintains metrology policies and procedures and ensures they support customer mission requirements and objectives.
• Manages the development and administration of metrology schedule and calibration requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
• Keeps well-informed of new metrology technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.
• Familiar with American National Standards for Calibration including ANSI/NCSL Z540, ANS/ISO/IEC 17025
• Maintains knowledge of relevant Metrology/PMEL techniques and Calibration laboratory practices
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite and familiarity of Fluke MET/Team, Fluke MET/CAL, Keysight TME, and other tools and equipment
• Oversee metrology process to meet customer mission objectives effectively and economically.
• Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
• Provides guidance and solutions to ensure metrology needs align with customer mission requirements.
• Participates in special metrology projects as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education, training, expertise, and experience in metrology and calibration
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of related Tier 2 level metrology experience
• Technical skills: metrology techniques, metrology software, and metrology laboratory calibration of various test and measurement equipment assets and tools
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI with polygraphli>
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements:
  
  Full time/ onsite at Government facility
