Job Summary:
A postdoctoral fellowship position is available for research training in non‑malignant kidney, urology, and hematology diseases. Trainees will pursue a two‑year research program in the laboratory or research group of an established research mentor in basic science or clinical research.
- Trainee will be required to develop an independent research project with an established mentor with expertise in non‑malignant kidney, urology and hematology disease‑related research.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
- Postdocs: completed MD or PhD by the start date of the fellowship. Next start date will be July 15, 2026 or August 1, 2026.
- Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work‑visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future.
- Postdoctoral candidates with a wide range of backgrounds will be considered.
- Selection is based on the applicant’s demonstrated research ability, career goals, and potential for an academic research career.
The starting salary range (NIH stipend levels) for this position has been established as follows:
Year 0: $63,480;
Year 1: $63,900;
Year 2: $64,380;
Year 3: $66,948;
Year 4: $69,180;
Year 5: $71,748;
Year 6: $74,424;
Year 7: $77,076.
