Dairy Food Scientist

I am currently partnered with a leading ingredients manufacturer who look to add a Dairy Food Scientist to their team.

Location: Englewood, CO

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Compensation: Up to $90k plus 10% bonus

This is a great opportunity for a technically strong food scientist with experience in dairy and alternative dairy applications
. The role will focus heavily on customer-facing technical support
, working closely with local customers to troubleshoot product formulation challenges and develop innovative ingredient solutions.

You’ll spend around 80% of your time with customers and around 20% in the lab/bench environment working with samples.

• Support key accounts with technical execution and formulation expertise
• Work directly with customers to co-create concepts and solve challenges
• Partner with internal teams across sales, marketing, and technical service
• Manage multiple projects and support category growth
• Design and analyse experiments to generate actionable insights

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
• Product development / technical service experience, ideally in dairy or alternative dairy
• Customer-facing experience, or a strong willingness to work directly with customers
• Strong communication, organisation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Hands-on lab, pilot plant, or bench-top experience
• Ability to travel locally up to 30%
