Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Merchandising, Customer Service Rep, Stocking
Position Summary
Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns and promoting the company’s products and services. Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.
Supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching and evaluating associates. Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork logs and other required documentation according to company policies and procedures. Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handles claims and returns, zones the area, stocks, arranges, cleans, and organizes merchandise, signs and prices merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, and secures fragile/high‑shrink merchandise. Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls and sanitation standards are followed. Oversees pickup order picking and staging, ensures products are selected and staged according to policy.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrates and promotes compliance with policies, procedures and ethics, explains how to apply these in executing business processes, and implements action plans. Leads and participates in teams using resources, information and tools, coordinating assignments, providing advice and feedback, and modeling change adaptation.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $25.00 to $33.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
Minimum QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older.
Six months of retail experience and six months of customer service experience.
Preferred QualificationsLeading a team, supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing and managing workload of others.
