As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, displaying, cleaning, and organizing products, removing damaged goods, correctly signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Maintain the sales floor in the Tire and Battery Center in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, and completing required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
• Maintain facility safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, performing proper forklift spotting, handling hazardous materials safely, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedure.
• Provide products and services to members by assisting with purchasing and service decisions, completing vehicle service requests and tests, operating center equipment safely, receiving, storing, and disposing of merchandise and supplies, and maintaining paperwork.
• Maintain and service member automobiles by driving cars into and out of the bay area, identifying and notifying members of vehicle damage prior to service, following company guidelines for tire installation, performing additional services such as repairing or replacing flats, balancing or rotating tires, and testing and installing batteries, and operating computer equipment when processing member services.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 to $31.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Successful completion of all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Experience in the auto service industry.
• Retail experience.
