Donation Services Associate - Smoky Hill Donation Center and Belleview Store
This position greets our customers and accepts their donations in an efficient and courteous manner. This position works outside in all weather conditions. Excellent customer service skills are a must!
Please tell us about your availability! Full-time positions are available. This position would primarily work at our Smoky Hill Donation Center but may be asked to work at our Belleview Store.
Donation hours at our Donation Centers are 9AM to 5PM daily. Donation hours at our Stores are Monday through Saturday 8AM to 8:30PM and Sunday 9AM to 7:30PM.
Pay: $16.65 Hr. This position is eligible for Daily Pay! Work today, get paid today! We've partnered with Daily Pay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule. The Associate I, Donation Services is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers and/or stand-alone donation centers (ADC). The Donation Services Associates will provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customers' timely and helping as needed that may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer's vehicle or other area. Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for items donated.

Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
Other:
Must be able to make decisions by following Goodwill standards and guidelines. Must have basic computer skills to be able to log into a computer system to order supplies and to send and receive email. Must be able to work in various weather conditions with varying temperatures*. Must be able to use safety equipment to assist with lifting heavy objects such as a dolly or pallet jack.
Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers. Must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays with occasional overtime as necessary.
