Job Summary

The goal of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to establish or re-establish, qualify, and maintain contact with small to medium-sized customers to increase machine parts and service sales by making 20+ calls per day in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” The ISR proactively manages an account base in an assigned territory, employing a disciplined phone call campaign.

The ISR provides retail assistance and coordination for customers with all sales activities, such as demonstrating, qualifying, quoting, and closing the sale. Direct mail and promotional activities will be used to drive business.

Pay Rate

$50,000 base salary plus commission. Pay rate is dependent on education and experience.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate demonstrations and facilitate quote processes
  • Maintain and update accurate customer account information and machine population data
  • Track account, territory and sales goals using CRM system
  • Pass parts, service, sales and rental requests to appropriate personnel

    Manage multiple sales leads and opportunities simultaneously
  • Establish and grow consultative relationships with customers
  • Build strong positive relationships with outside sales reps and employees
  • Execute disciplined phone call campaign, making 20 calls per day
  • Maintain call cycle with customers according to established PAR for the account
  • Qualify accounts and begin developing customer relationships
  • Target specific customers for sales and promotions
  • Promote all aspects of the dealership’s services, including parts, service, rental, and customer support agreements
  • Perform simple needs analysis to determine customer needs and provide solutions
  • Communicate effectively about dealer products and services
  • Use multiple programs and systems, e.g., Sales Link DBS, SIS, , Vision Link, SIMSi
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Required

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • College degree in any discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years outbound phone sales experience
  • 3+ years administrative/clerical experience
  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • 3+ years sales experience
Physical Demands and Competencies
  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Mostly sedentary work, may require lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Safety and product knowledge
  • Decision making, planning, and prioritizing
  • Ability to inspire and support others
  • Basic Microsoft PowerPoint; intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Work Environment
  • Moderate noise

Travel Requirements
  • 10-25% travel
