Account Manager – What Is It?
We are seeking motivated Account Managers to join our team! The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a territory through cold calling, B2B prospecting, as well as calling on current accounts to build relationships, maintain inventory and equipment, and place orders. We pride ourselves on offering solutions for all work environments to help customers finding safe and effective ways to treat their facilities, while increasing wallet share.
A successful candidate will effectively communicate with customers and internal team members, while being resourceful, flexible and resilient. A blend of sales and service goals gives variety in a typical day.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and upselling
- Build brand awareness within assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating the value and capabilities of our products
- Implement and sell innovative customer programs designed to create unique value
- Provide service to commercial businesses, government buildings (federal, state, local), educational facilities, and healthcare/industrial facilities
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Ability to travel within the local market area using a personal vehicle; valid driver’s license required
- Residency within assigned territory is required
- Strong customer service orientation and desire to support customer needs
- Proficiency with tablets and iOS platforms, including iPhone and iPad
- Guaranteed base pay plus monthly bonus
