Regional Insulation Sales ManagerPosition Summary
:
As the Regional Insulation Sales Manager, you will drive sales and profitability growth in the insulation market across a multi‑state territory. You will proactively engage new and potential customers while maintaining relationships with existing ones, serving as the insulation expert for the customer.
- Manage and create an insulation sales strategy in a multi‑state defined geographic area.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry referrals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, property managers, and other potential customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, or annual insulation product sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits and assessments to understand the customer’s needs and recommend insulation solutions.
- Provide detailed product information and technical advice to customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date with the latest insulation products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and status through a CRM system.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong understanding of insulation products and their applications.
- Strong sales acumen – proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the building materials industry preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s record.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- 5‑10 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in the insulation industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
