Overview
Ferguson is a Fortune 500 distributor of building, plumbing, and HVAC products. The Territory Manager – Facilities Supply role is a field‑based sales position servicing the Aurora and Denver area. The position is based in the Aurora/Denver region and is supported by a fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone, and laptop.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customers and vendors, ensuring flawless service from order to delivery.
- Grow share of wallet with active, new, and inactive customers through trust‑based relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, devising and implementing sales strategies with management.
- Perform product quotations and resolve customer issues with a focus on outstanding service.
- Analyze competition within the territory and communicate sales strategies to management.
- Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge, maintaining a professional image to boost performance.
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce and Map My Customer to evaluate the pipeline and measure sales closure results.
- Minimum of 3 years of outside field sales experience in an industry‑related environment.
- Experience with in the Multifamily and Hospitality verticals with General Managers, Facility/Maintenance supervisors, and engineers is beneficial.
- Proven sales experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Strong problem‑solving, leadership, active listening, and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to multitask, learn quickly, and retain information.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
The role is base plus commission-eligible with no cap on commission. The estimated total compensation range, based on performance and experience, is $75,000 – $100,000+.
