Role

Connecting Point is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive new business growth across Northern Colorado, the Denver Metro area, and Southern Wyoming.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new opportunities, and creating conversations with business leaders around IT strategy, cybersecurity, and managed services. You'll work closely with leadership and account management teams to identify ideal client prospects, generate first-time appointments, and support pipeline growth.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility built into the schedule, while still maintaining strong collaboration with the team in-office.

Responsibilities
  • Generate net-new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, Linked In networking, and follow-up campaigns
  • Identify and qualify small to midsize business prospects across target markets
  • Schedule first-time appointments and discovery meetings for leadership
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and pipeline tracking within Hub Spot
  • Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market initiatives and territory strategy
  • Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Stay informed on managed IT services, cybersecurity trends, and SMB technology challenges
  • Represent Connecting Point professionally within the local business community
What We’re Looking For
  • 1-3+ years of BDR, SDR, inside sales, or business development experience
  • Previous experience selling services, technology, SaaS, telecom, staffing, or MSP solutions is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Hub Spot is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented culture
  • Local to Northern Colorado, Denver Metro, or surrounding markets preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base of $55,000-$75,000, plus commission
  • Hybrid work environment (2 days in office / 3 remote)
