Job Summary
You will join a new and exciting business unit with Palo Alto Networks positioning the industry’s first combined Enterprise Browser and comprehensive SASE security platform, providing the broadest security and compliance coverage for applications used by the hybrid workforce, regardless of location. You will work with sales partners to establish relationships with customers to help them detect and prevent advanced cyber attacks and breaches by advising them on the immense value of Palo Alto Networks’ Enterprise Browser.
Our systems engineers have a deep technical understanding of cybersecurity products, integrations, and critical cyber threats facing our potential customers’ environments. You will provide technical guidance to sales teams, offering training and support, building trust and rapport as a trusted advisor, and ensuring customers feel secure. Additionally, you will provide feedback to product management on new feature requests and product improvements based on customer insights.
Impact
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with Sales Specialists and the local partners
- Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers that can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions
- Architect and propose validated solutions which address the identified problems in each individual environment
- Deliver presentations, demonstrations, PoCs, RFP/RFI responses to prospective and current clients
- Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption
- Continuously improve and learn to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.)
- Understand and effectively differentiate against top competitors
- Act as the customer advocate for technical issues and follow up with the customer until resolution
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Proven experience in a pre‑sales role selling into large enterprise organizations
- Extensive experience selling technical cyber‑security products and engaging in high‑level technical discussions
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex problems and find systematic solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ambitious attitude
