Description
PDS (Professional Document Solutions), a Proven IT company, is growing! We're looking for a proactive, results-driven Account Representative to own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing. You'll build lasting relationships with businesses across Northern Colorado, Denver, Vail, and the Grand Junction Valley, helping them find the right office technology and document workflow solutions to fit their needs.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Research and develop targeted prospect lists to drive new business across our Colorado territories.
- Own the end-to-end sales process — qualify leads, build pipeline, and close deals on copiers, printers, wide-format devices, and managed print services.
- Deliver tailored presentations and product demos to business owners and decision-makers, matching solutions to their document and workflow needs.
- Partner with our service and solutions teams to ensure smooth equipment installation and long-term client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and activity reports.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing on hardware, service agreements, and supplies while maintaining profitability.
- Stay current on our product lines, competitor offerings, and trends in document management and office technology.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Represent PDS at local business events, trade shows, and community engagements across Colorado.
- 3+ years in consultative B2B sales, ideally in office technology, managed print, document solutions, or related fields.
- Proven track record managing consultative sales cycles and hitting quota.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and pipeline management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented — you enjoy building relationships and finding the right solution for each client.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Comfortable both in-person and virtual client interactions.
- Ability to travel regionally (up to 25%) for client meetings and industry events.
- As part of our employment requirements, all team members must provide a valid photo have consistent access to reliable transportation.
- Frequent use of office equipment, including computers, copiers, phone systems, and other relevant technology, to support daily tasks and operations.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing office duties and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds (e.g., handling files, office supplies, or light equipment).
- Standard office environment, requiring occasional light physical activity such as filing, organizing materials, and moving office supplies.
GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE: After a 30-day waiting period, full-time employees (who work at least 30 hours per week) and their dependents, are eligible to enroll in health benefits through Cigna. Health options include a choice of 2 PPO plans, or a High Deductible Health plan. In addition, Dental benefits are available as well as a Vision PPO plan utilizing the Eye Med network.
Proven also offers voluntary worksite benefits including critical illness and accident coverage, short-term disability insurance, supplemental life and pet insurance.
EMPLOYER PROVIDED LIFE/AD&D INSURANCE: After a 30-day waiting period, Proven IT provides a flat $25,000 Life Insurance benefit, administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, to all full-time employees (who work at least 30 hours per week). Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit payments are determined based on the type of loss incurred and are payable up to the full Life Insurance benefit amount.
Life and AD&D Insurance coverage amounts are reduced at ages 65, 70 and 75.
