Van Diest Supply Company is looking for a Specialty Area Manager for Colorado (Turf Focus).This individual will promote, sell, and service all present and new products, programs, and activities in the Colorado Turf Market, by calling on established lawn care companies, golf courses, sports turf, landscapers, aquatics applicators, etc., and prospect for new accounts.

A Specialty Area Manager will develop a well-structured sales plan to identify and achieve profitable sales all while operating within the guidelines and policies of the company.

A Specialty Area Manager will assist in the management of the customers’ accounts and make clear all programs and policies affecting the customers’ account.

In addition, formulate ideas and offer initial problem-solving solutions to both customers and management.

This position also keeps management informed of trends and market shifts that affect the business of the company.

This sales territory is serviced by Distribution Centers in Florence, CO, Cheyenne, WY, and McCook, NE.

• A College degree or equivalent experience.
• Travel.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of agricultural and/or specialty chemical & fertilizer industry and marketing principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supplier representatives, and company personnel.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and maintain those relationships.
