Job SummaryCullum & Brown is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. The role requires driving customer center equipment sales and service activity for the Northern Colorado territory, including quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets and maximize profits. The position blends supporting a major distributor and selling direct to customers.
Responsibilities- Generate revenue by selling equipment, service contracts, and service offerings to direct end users and partners; develop existing customer base and secure new competitive accounts; provide compressed air solutions; keep current with product knowledge; execute strategy for improvement and exceed customer satisfaction; achieve all assigned sales targets.
- Develop people capabilities by providing selling skills and product/services training for dealer sales personnel and customer center staff; partner with services team to understand products and anticipate customer needs.
- Manage cash by ensuring error‑free orders with correct documentation, resolving customer disputes, and controlling costs such as travel and entertainment.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules in the field and customer center.
- Earn customer loyalty by collaborating cross‑functionally and leveraging support for troubleshooting and unique solutions.
- Maintain a customer relationship management database with interactions, assets, agreements, contacts, and opportunities; record order follow‑up activities; provide market feedback; drive and track the sales pipeline and daily reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four‑year institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in an industrial sales business setting.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations (DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, or multiple collisions in the previous 3 years).
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Excellent relationship‑building and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to establish solid relationships with customers, key institutions and team members.
- Honest, self‑motivated and team‑oriented.
- Works both independently and within a team.
- Mechanical and electrical expertise.
- Ability to assess customer needs, perform basic equipment performance calculations and recommend technical solutions.
- Tech savvy;
Salesforce knowledge preferred. - Proven business and sales acumen, including the ability to prospect accounts, navigate within a customer organization, value‑sell and win competitive accounts.
- Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills.
- Regional travel to customer sites is required within the assigned geographic territory.
The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $70,000–$120,000. Hired applicants will be eligible for discretionary/non‑discretionary annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
