Job Description & How to Apply Below
SAF North America, a subsidiary of SAF Tehnika, is seeking a responsive and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support customers and help grow our business across North America. This role works closely with Outside Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Logistics to turn customer needs into accurate proposals, well-managed orders, and a consistently strong customer experience.
What you will do:- Respond promptly to inbound customer and partner inquiries by phone and email, clarify requirements, and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
- Prepare accurate quotes and proposals using approved price lists, discount guidelines, product configurations, and input from Outside Sales and Engineering.
- Qualify sales opportunities, follow up on open quotes, and help move prospects through the sales process from initial inquiry to purchase order.
- Communicate product availability, production lead times, shipping expectations, and order status clearly and proactively.
- Process customer orders and maintain complete, accurate records in the company CRM and ERP systems.
- Build relationships with customers, distributors, and partners; identify opportunities for additional products, services, or follow-on business.
- Coordinate internally to resolve commercial, technical, or fulfillment questions and ensure commitments made to customers are achievable.
- Maintain organized sales documentation and provide timely pipeline, quote, and activity updates to management.
- Two or more years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, account coordination, or a similar customer-facing role; technical B2B experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly to both technical and non-technical contacts.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with pricing, product configurations, lead times, and order documentation.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing follow-through.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and ERP platforms is strongly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small, fast-moving team and take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Ability to work at our office in Aurora, Colorado, five days a week.
- Experience with telecommunications, wireless networking, test and measurement equipment, IoT products, or another technical product portfolio.
- Experience supporting distributors, resellers, integrators, or business customers across multiple territories.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, communications, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, commercially minded, and genuinely enjoys helping customers. You do not need to know every product on day one, but you should be curious, comfortable learning technical information, and dependable in following through on details.
