Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is hiring Safety Support Professionals (Security Officers) as part of an exciting expansion tied to the launch of our state-of-the-art Potomac Pavilion, scheduled to open in early 2026. This new facility will unify several critical behavioral health and substance use programs — including a 24/7 Detox Unit, 16-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Crisis Walk-In Center (WIC), and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) — under one roof, and we’re building a strong Safety and Security Team to support it.
These roles are essential to maintaining a 24/7 safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff across multiple sites. Ideal candidates will bring experience in healthcare or mental health settings, strong crisis response and communication skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed care. Join us at the ground level of this transformative initiative and help shape the future of behavioral health in our community.
These positions are fully on-site/in-person. Multiple full-time schedule options are available. Paid lunch but must remain on campus.
