, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. • Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and note unusual behavior or conditions.
• Monitor access points and high‑traffic areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and support store and property personnel with security‑related concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or maintenance or life‑systems concerns in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
