Contractor Program Security Officer
Manage the industrial security program and security activities at a customer accredited facility, ensuring compliance with the intelligence community (IC), DoD government, and company security policies, requirements, and procedures, and maintaining the overall accreditation posture.
Responsibilities- Review and investigate non‑compliance issues.
- Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff.
- Manage program and administrative activities regarding security clearances for the organization's employees and advise management and personnel on issues.
- Assist with ad hoc proposal security volume reviews.
- Coordinate security support for compartmented or special access programs, as required.
- 5+ years of experience applying tailored, responsive, multi‐disciplined security support (personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security) aimed at protecting corporate and client personnel, information, facilities, programs, and capabilities.
- Experience with SCI administration.
- Knowledge of personnel and physical security policies and regulations, including ICD 705 and Security Executive Agent Directives.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer.
- Knowledge of contract and acquisition security practices.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and articulate focused solutions, and take independent action in an ambiguous work environment.
- Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, experience, contract‑specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
