Journeyman Licensed Electrician

Position: Journeyman Licensed Electrician

Location:

Buckley SFB

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Major Job Activities:

• Perform electrical service and work related to infrastructure implementation and operations & maintenance for CELs or telecommunication shelters, including electrical circuits, panels, grounding/bonding, UPS, and PDUs.
• Ensure electrical, grounding, and bonding components and testing comply with applicable DoD, Federal, state, local codes, host base regulations, or host nation standards.
• Complete all electrical and grounding work as required.

Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Teams, MS Office Suite.

Office setting with potential support for austere locations.

Must be able to lift and carry 100 lbs.

Education / Certifications:

• Preferred:
  Associate Degree in Electrical Systems Technology
• High School Diploma
• Licensed as required by country, state, or county.

Experience / Skills:

• 7 years preferred; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Technology:

Experience with DoD network infrastructure projects involving electrical, grounding, power panels, UPS, and generator upgrades.
