Electrical - Journeyman

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Construct AC power systems with voltages up to 1000V
• Install and maintain secondary power systems, including standby generators and battery systems
• Work with new and existing utility services
• Perform AC to DC power conversion
• Interpret construction drawings and one‑line diagrams (Adobe or Bluebeam PDF editor experience preferred)
• Install and troubleshoot low‑voltage alarming and control wiring
• Troubleshoot low‑and medium‑voltage electrical systems
• Install EMT, GRC, and PVC conduit
• Perform basic electrical calculations, including:
  • Conductor sizing
  • Available fault current
  • Voltage drop
• Install step‑down transformers
• Perform electrical testing
• Install electrical enclosures
• Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity

• Strong leadership skills and desire to grow
• Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to schedule
• Knowledge of proper use of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction projects
• Respect for company vehicles, tools, and property

• Journeyman license in surrounding states (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)

• $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
