Installation Technician, Electrician/ Electrician Installation

Mountain Wireless is the premier telecommunications construction company in Colorado and beyond. We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team and support the buildout of next‑generation wireless infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Construct AC power systems with voltages up to 1000V
- Install and maintain secondary power systems, including standby generators and battery systems
- Work with new and existing utility services
- Perform AC to DC power conversion
- Interpret construction drawings and one‑line diagrams (Adobe or Bluebeam PDF editor experience preferred)
- Install and troubleshoot low‑voltage alarming and control wiring
- Troubleshoot low‑and medium‑voltage electrical systems
- Install EMT, GRC, and PVC conduit
- Perform basic electrical calculations, including:
- Conductor sizing
- Available fault current
- Voltage drop
- Install step‑down transformers
- Perform electrical testing
- Install electrical enclosures
- Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Strong leadership skills and desire to grow
- Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to schedule
- Knowledge of proper use of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction projects
- Respect for company vehicles, tools, and property
- Journeyman license in surrounding states (Preferred)
- OSHA 30 (Preferred)
- Up to 15%
- $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
