Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge systems, and fire pumps.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Work independently and manage your own schedule and workload.
What We Look For- 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair on sprinkler and suppression systems.
- Retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Ability to read and understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.66 - $40.42 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
