Hourly Rate: $19.00 to $21.00.

- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, elevators).
- Perform or supervise preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, are in excellent condition.
- Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and building codes.
- Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections.
- Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement energy‑saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
- Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly and support guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large‑scale projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical skills in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, elevators, fire safety equipment)
- Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues across hotel systems
- Knowledge of energy‑efficient practices and systems
- Preferred certifications: HVAC Technician, Electrician License, OSHA safety training
- Customer‑focused mindset; awareness of how maintenance activities can impact guests and minimization of disruptions
