Hourly Rate: $19.00 to $21.00.

Working as a Part‑time Weekend Maintenance Technician, Hotel Maintenance Technician, or Hotel Engineer offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team. • Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, elevators).
• Perform or supervise preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, are in excellent condition.
• Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and building codes.
• Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement energy‑saving initiatives and sustainable practices.

• Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly and support guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large‑scale projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical skills in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, elevators, fire safety equipment)
• Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues across hotel systems
• Knowledge of energy‑efficient practices and systems
• Preferred certifications: HVAC Technician, Electrician License, OSHA safety training
• Customer‑focused mindset; awareness of how maintenance activities can impact guests and minimization of disruptions
