The hring rate for this role is $31.68 - $39.60/hour.
Salary to be commensurate with experience.

Position overview
The Plumber performs skilled plumbing, installation and repair work on plumbing systems in city-owned or city-leased buildings and facilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs new installation, repair and preventative maintenance of both residential and commercial plumbing systems
Monitors and inspects facilities, equipment and systems to determine compliance with State standards, and need for repair or upgrade
Reviews blueprints and construction plans
Monitors and oversees contract work for compliance to established standards
Analyzes malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments
Coordinates, monitors and/or performs installation of materials, fixtures, equipment and systems
Operates specialized tools and equipment; operates computerized monitoring and testing as well as reporting systems
Schedules and performs detailed plumbing preventive maintenance tasks
Schedules, tests and certifies backflow prevention devises
Maintains records of operation, maintenance and repairs
Prepares related reports; maintains inventory of parts and supplies
Trains subordinate employees as appropriate
May act as lead worker
Performs other related duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING CONDITIONS An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
At least 5 years progressively responsible plumbing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of practices, procedures, equipment and systems related assigned function
