We are looking for a technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, address customer concerns, advise on system status, and repair or replace security equipment.

• Assess and resolve customer concerns regarding security systems.
• Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and inspection results.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Access systems, and other security equipment.
• Work independently from remote locations, ensuring the highest level of service.
• Identify and eliminate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities and quotes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product lines.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV, and IP cameras.
• HIRSCH Certificate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Fire alarm experience.
• Some college education.
• NICET II or greater certification.

Hourly range: $32.06 – $44.13, determined by education, experience, background, internal equity, and market data.
