We are looking for a technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, address customer concerns, advise on system status, and repair or replace security equipment.

- Assess and resolve customer concerns regarding security systems.
- Advise customers and the customer care center on system status and inspection results.
- Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Access systems, and other security equipment.
- Work independently from remote locations, ensuring the highest level of service.
- Identify and eliminate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
- Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
- Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities and quotes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–4 years of experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product lines.
- Experience with Card Access, CCTV, and IP cameras.
- HIRSCH Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Electrical/Electronic background.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fire alarm experience.
- Some college education.
- NICET II or greater certification.
Hourly range: $32.06 – $44.13, determined by education, experience, background, internal equity, and market data.
