Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality service and supporting a safe, efficient shop environment. This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in their technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicle systems, including engine, brake, electrical, steering, suspension, transmission, and HVAC components.
- Complete repairs and maintenance services according to manufacturer guidelines and shop standards.
- Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns, worn parts, and potential mechanical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and service information systems to determine root causes of vehicle problems.
- Document findings, repair recommendations, and completed work clearly and accurately.
- Communicate professionally with service advisors or team members regarding repair needs and estimated completion times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop policies and safety procedures.
- Stay current on evolving automotive technologies, repair methods, and manufacturer updates.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across multiple vehicle systems.
- Complete set of tools to perform most repairs
- Working knowledge of modern repair techniques, tools, and shop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions.
- Experience with routine maintenance, preventative care, and complex mechanical repairs.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy items and work in varying shop conditions.
- GM Certification preferred, other OEM Certified are welcome!
- Experience working with domestic, import, or light-duty vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with digital inspection tools and shop management systems.
- Previous experience in a dealership, independent repair facility, or fleet maintenance environment.
- ASE or similar professional certifications are a plus.
