Commercial Refrigeration Lead Technician

Yellowstone Local is hiring a Commercial Refrigeration Lead Technician to support our home-service clients with expert field service. In this role, you'll lead commercial refrigeration installs, service, and maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and ensure high-quality, timely work. You'll mentor junior techs, coordinate with office and client teams, and document work with accuracy. Responsibilities

• Lead commercial refrigeration service, installs, and preventive maintenance for home-service and commercial clients
• Diagnose and repair complex refrigeration, electrical, and control issues safely and efficiently
• Mentor and support junior technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to standards
• Plan jobs, coordinate with dispatch and client contacts, and ensure timely completion of work
• Accurately document service performed, parts used, recommendations, and follow-up needs
• Ensure compliance with safety, EPA, and industry regulations for refrigerant handling and equipment
• Communicate professionally with clients, explaining findings and recommended solutions
• Assist in refining service processes and best practices to support client satisfaction and growth
