Funded School Social Worker
Funded School Social Worker Position Available at Horizon Middle School. This position is hired on a year-only contract with potential for renewal in the spring based on department needs and board of education approval. Starting date is July 28, 2026. New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 27th. District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years.
Work schedule is 182 contracted work days. This position is eligible for benefits including group insurance (health, dental, and vision), paid sick and personal leave, and elective retirement savings plans. Salary range is $62,244/year to $78,372/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education, licensure, and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).
Qualifications and Expectations: MA/MS from accredited college or university. Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment:
