Social Worker School

Epic Special Education Staffing seeks a School Social Worker for the school year to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. In this role, you'll provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support, while collaborating with teachers, special educators, and families. You'll participate in IEP meetings, develop intervention plans, connect students with community resources, and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school psychologists to support student success.
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling for urgent student needs.
• Engage and support families, providing resources and referrals to community services.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports.
• Participate in IEP, student support, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Support a positive, inclusive school climate aligned with district and Epic values.
