Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Senior Command & Telemetry Software Engineer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Aurora, CO.

Job Title: Senior Command & Telemetry Software Engineer (Aurora, CO)

Work Location: Aurora, CO

Duration: 12 month contract

Education/Experience

Required:

Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience;
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

What You Will Learn:

• A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design
• Modern Dev Sec Ops  and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
• Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing software using C++ and Java
• Experience with the satellite command & telemetry or similar domain
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain TS/SCI without Polygraph prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with the Eclipse Command & Telemetry Product Line
• Experience developing software using Python
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience with development tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot
