Sr. Command & Telemetry Software Engineer- Secret Clearance

This position requires an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is searching for a Senior Command & Telemetry Software Engineer.

This is an on-site role based in Aurora, CO.

• Focused on program execution, business growth and the highest level of customer satisfaction, the ASDS team provides customers with unmatched capabilities of detection and sensing, command and control, and air-to-air, air-to-surface, and surface-to-air munitions to accomplish air, space and missile defense missions. Within ASDS, Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance is our Sub-SBU that delivers information superiority from space, multi-mission automation and orchestration, multiple intelligence (Multi-INT) and resilient operations, secure processing, and data management
• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment

• A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design
• Modern Dev Sec Ops  and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
• Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations

• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation and pass a polygraph exam

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing software using C++ and Java
• Experience with the satellite command & telemetry or similar domain
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment

• TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with the Eclipse Command & Telemetry Product Line
• Experience developing software using Python
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience with development tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

Full benefits: $120,000 to $150,000 annually

Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision):
