Glia Cell is seeking a Principal Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems for a large government contract.

• The Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team, reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements, documents test results, resolves software problem reports, and utilizes appropriate development and design methodologies.
• Provides specific input to software components of system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

• Active or re‑installable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance (REQUIRED). Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 20+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

The salary range for this full‑time position is $190,000 to $280,000. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection.
