* This position is for a  
** Staff Systems Engineer.
** You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations.  The position will primarily support the operations for a software system.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams

+ Performing requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.

+ Developing test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events

+ Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions

+ Supporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities

+ Participating in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards

+ Conducting testing events of software solutions and generating Test result documentation

+ Supporting operations of software with tasks such as enterprise test events and user integration and onboarding

Required:

+ Active TS/SCI with Poly

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, IT, or related engineering field

+ At least 5 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineering

+ Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment

+ Ability to develop requirements

+ Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements

+ Ability to develop tracing between requirements, code, and verification

+ Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

+ Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CISSP, or CASP)

_Desired:_

+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with virtual teams

+ Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD

+

Experience with using automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification

+

Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedures

+ Experience in working with software-defined interfaces that use either XML or JSON to both document and implement

+

Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems

+ Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs

+ Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams

+ Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality

Experience with Cameo modeling tools

+ Experience developing a software architect using digital tools
