Northrop Grumman seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work independently on a distributed team advancing a Java baseline. The role involves developing containerized applications with Docker & Kubernetes on Linux/Unix operating systems, following Agile principles.
Basic Qualifications- Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience;
Master’s with 3+ years of relative experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. - Level 4:
Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience;
Master’s with 6+ years of relative experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. - Requires an active DoD Top-Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility at the time of application.
- Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) (not required to start).
- Experience developing applications in Java.
- Experience developing applications in a containerized architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing applications on a Linux/Unix operating system.
- Experience developing applications using Agile principles, processes, and tools.
- Active Security+ (or similar) certification.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Prior completed Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly).
- Prior engineering or development experience within the U.S. Space or U.S. Aerospace industry.
- Dev Ops, Integration and Testing, and FIPS experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to program management and customers.
- Ability to effectively write technical documentation.
- Experience sharing knowledge, mentoring, and working in a collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
- Ability to travel (limited, up to 10%).
Primary Level: $114,000 – $171,000. Secondary Level: $142,200 – $213,400.
