Senior Principal Platform IAC Engineer – Onsite position based in Aurora, Colorado, requiring U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance at day one. The role leads a small engineering team to develop, modernize, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions across a hybrid‑cloud environment that supports a national mission‑critical program.
What You Will Do- Leverage industry best practices to deploy, implement, modernize, and support IaC solutions.
- Lead a small team of engineers in software customization and automation, including Ansible playbooks, templates, dashboards, and scripts.
- Integrate container development and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/Docker.
- Design, develop, and support build and test pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on‑premise, virtualized, or cloud environments.
- Assist engineers with tool usage and issue resolution, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or related STEM field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with integration, cloud, Kubernetes, containerization, IaP, Linux development, and microservices.
- Proficient Linux system administration (RHEL 6.0+).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, Cucumber, Eclipse, Git.
- Experience implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks.
- Experience with Ansible automation frameworks.
- Experience configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
- Programming skills in Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go.
- Knowledge of Postgres, Sonar Qube, networks, storage, and virtualization.
- Background in installing, configuring, and integrating COTS/FOSS products.
- CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain.
- Competitive salary range of $132,400–$251,600 USD (based on experience).
