Principal Mission Management Software Engineer

Position Overview

Senior Software Engineer – Satellite Ground Systems in Aurora, CO (Onsite).

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting‑edge satellite ground systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (unless prohibited by law).
• Experience designing and developing object‑oriented software in Java.
• Experience with Java multi‑threading.
• Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar systems.
• Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance (or TS/SCI equivalent via Top Secret).
• U.S. citizenship.

• Experience developing satellite planning and scheduling software.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology.
• Experience with microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with test automation, Dev Sec Ops , and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.

Onsite – Aurora, CO. U.S. citizenship and a transferable TS/SCI clearance are required prior to start.
