Senior Systems Engineer – Integration and Test
Location:
Aurora, Colorado, United States. This position is onsite and requires a U.S. citizen with an active, transferable TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date.
- Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers to develop and deliver advanced ground system solutions.
- Perform software and hardware integration and test activities as part of an Agile Release Train within the Command and Control domain.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues encountered during system integration and testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to support verification and validation activities.
- Debug software and hardware issues to ensure system performance, reliability, and functionality.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality integration and test solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with software integration and testing in an Agile CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools.
- Experience developing software within a relevant project domain, such as command and control ground systems or space‑based ISR platforms.
- Hands‑on integration and test engineering experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging software‑based systems or products.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl.
- Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred:
Experience in a satellite ground system development or operations environment. - Preferred:
Experience with satellite command and control (C2) systems. - Preferred:
Experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops environments using Agile practices. - Preferred:
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). - Preferred:
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr. - Preferred:
Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud‑based environments.
Relocation eligible. Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
