Description:
Collins Aerospace is seeking Engineers for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software (HBMAS) Sustainment and Development program. The role involves software development, sustainment of cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets, and ensuring data security, integrity and availability on CONUS & OCONUS sites (max 25% travel).
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting‑edge defense systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
- Advanced software technologies including multi‑tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice design.
- Modern Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD practices.
- Software lifecycle practices for large‑scale defense projects.
- Experience developing object‑oriented software using Java and related languages.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start date.
- Typically a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Agile development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and managed service integration.
