Description:

Collins Aerospace is seeking Engineers for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software (HBMAS) Sustainment and Development program. The role involves software development, sustainment of cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets, and ensuring data security, integrity and availability on CONUS & OCONUS sites (max 25% travel).

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting‑edge defense systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

• Advanced software technologies including multi‑tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice design.
• Modern Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD practices.
• Software lifecycle practices for large‑scale defense projects.

• Experience developing object‑oriented software using Java and related languages.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start date.
• Typically a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.

• Experience with Agile development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and managed service integration.
