DeNOVO Solutions seeks a Mid-Level Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for modern software systems supporting mission‑critical operations. The role leads automated testing efforts, validates system integrations, and ensures high‑quality software delivery across Agile development teams.

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for software applications.
• Develop and execute integration and end‑to‑end testing strategies.
• Perform REST API testing and validation to ensure service reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document and resolve defects.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and defect reports.
• Participate in Agile development activities and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

• 2 to 5 years of professional software testing experience.
• Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience designing and implementing integration test suites and REST API testing.
• Proficiency with Cypress or similar end‑to‑end testing frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written communication skills for test documentation and defect reporting.
• Experience working collaboratively with development teams.

• Testing microservice architectures.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Jest or Mocha.
• API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured or Supertest.
• Performance and load testing tools such as k6, JMeter or Gatling.
• Contract testing tools such as Pact.
• Testing in containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Test data management and mocking strategies.
• Accessibility testing including WCAG compliance.
• Visual regression testing tools.
• Backend technologies such as Go, Node.js or Python.
• Security testing principles.
• Test reporting and metrics dashboards.
• BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Spec Flow.
• Mentoring junior test engineers.
• Cloud test platforms such as AWS/C2S.

Professional experience supporting software testing and quality assurance activities. No certifications required.

$80,000.00 – $ (commensurate with experience)
