Principal Systems Engineer – Integration and Test

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI without Polygraph and U.S. citizenship required; clearance must be active on day 1.

• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers to develop and deliver advanced ground systems solutions
• Perform software and hardware integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team within the Command and Control (C2) domain
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues encountered during system integration and testing
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to support verification and validation activities
• Debug software and hardware issues to ensure system performance, reliability, and functionality
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality integration and test solutions

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with software integration and testing in an Agile CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools
• Experience developing software within a relevant project domain (e.g., command and control ground systems or space‑based ISR platforms)
• Experience with hands‑on integration and test engineering
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging software‑based systems or products
• Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Experience with satellite command and control (C2) systems
• Experience working in a Dev Ops and/or Dev Sec Ops  environment using Agile development practices
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud‑based environments

• Salary range: $107,500 - $204,500 USD
• Relocation eligible
