Security Clearance RequirementsActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required: only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
What You Will Do- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
- Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
- A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.
- Modern Dev Sec Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
- Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.
- Satellite ground system technologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience designing and developing object-oriented applications using Java.
- Experience working with COTS/FOSS and performing COTS/FOSS upgrades.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start date. Alternatively, an active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI clearance is acceptable. U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with the satellite ground system domain.
- Experience troubleshooting software errors and implementing fixes.
- Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.
- Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Test Automation, Dev Sec Ops , and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
