Prin. Dev Sec Ops  Software Lead (Contingent)

Employment type:

Contingent (contract awarded and customer funding). Onsite role. Travel to customer CONUS & OCONUS sites as required, but no more than 25%. U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have an active TS/SCI – Current security clearance prior to start date.

• Lead a team in the design, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Enable automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
• Integrate security and quality controls throughout the pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams.
• Ensure software delivery is reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Sign‑on bonus eligible.

Strengthen cloud deployment practices; improve overall delivery efficiency through automation; understand how security integrates with development and operations in a CI/CD environment; build and support pipelines that scale with organizational needs.

• Experience leading the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices and tools.
• Experience using automated security tools such as SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Ability to integrate automated testing, scanning, and quality gates into build and deployment workflows.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI – Current clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud‑native deployment patterns and managed services.
• Knowledge of configuration management and environment automation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles and secure‑by‑design practices.
