Principal Systems Engineer – Integration and Test

Location:

Aurora, CO, USA (Onsite). U.S. citizenship required; active TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start date.

The role is part of the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), you will integrate, verify, and validate complex systems to ensure they meet mission requirements.

• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers to develop and deliver advanced ground systems solutions.
• Perform software and hardware integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team within the Command and Control (C2) domain.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues encountered during system integration and testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to support verification and validation activities.
• Debug software and hardware issues to ensure system performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality integration and test solutions.
• Relocation eligible.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with software integration and testing in an Agile CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools.
• Experience developing software within a relevant project domain (e.g., command and control ground systems or space‑based ISR platforms).
• Hands‑on integration and test engineering experience, including troubleshooting and debugging software‑based systems or products.
• Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
• Experience with satellite command and control (C2) systems.
• Experience working in a Dev Ops and/or Dev Sec Ops  environment using Agile development practices.
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr.
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud‑based environments.
