Senior Software Engineer; Onsite

Overview

Collins Aerospace is seeking engineers for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software (HBMAS) Sustainment and Development program. The role focuses on software development and sustainment for cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets while maintaining security, integrity, and availability of data.

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting‑edge defense systems.
• Work with teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

• Experience developing object‑oriented software using Java and other object‑oriented languages.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start date.
• Typical requirement of a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.

• Experience with Agile development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and managed service integration.

U.S. citizenship is required. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance prior to day one. Travel to customer CONUS and OCONUS sites may be required, not more than 25%.

Estimated salary range: $86,800–$165,200 USD.
