About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer – Integration and Test supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. In this role you will develop test plans and procedures, debug system functions and interfaces, build test environments, and collaborate with integration teams and customers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a cross‑disciplinary team of engineers to develop industry‑leading ground systems solutions.
- Perform integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team within the Command and Control (C2) domain.
- Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and work with engineers to drive resolution.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to support system verification and validation.
- Diagnose and debug system issues to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Support development and delivery objectives within an Agile program environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in software integration and testing within an Agile CI/CD environment.
- Experience with regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools.
- Hands‑on integration and test engineering experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for software‑based systems.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
- Development experience in mission management ground systems or space‑based ISR platforms.
- Knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud‑based environments.
