Position: Sr. Analyst, Logistics - Aurora, CO

At Raytheon, we’re looking for a Logistics Team Lead to manage the daily operations of receiving, shipping, warehouse, and transportation at our Aurora, CO facility.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all logistics operations (receiving, shipping, warehouse, and transportation) and lead a team of associates.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure safe work practices.
  • Enforce safety standards and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) practices.
  • Ensure proper management of PPE requirements.
  • Lead day‑to‑day activities within each logistics function, including communication, problem resolution, service level commitments, and safety reviews.
  • Act as the primary information source for the team by effectively communicating updates on critical logistics efforts and changes in workload priorities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to define team effectiveness and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train associates on tasking requirements and take corrective action when needed.
  • Develop and update training documents and present them to the team and leadership.
  • Work with local program support teams, mission assurance, and government property compliance to satisfy program requirements and maintain a Government Property Control System.
  • Monitor tasks and oversee projects related to all logistics activities that require support from other functional groups on site.
  • Balance support of departmental workflows while ensuring cross‑training requirements for full support.
  • Apply knowledge of interpreting requirements, specifications, directives, regulations, and other related technical, contractual, or leadership documents pertinent to logistics.
  • Comply with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and vehicle requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers to influence behavior and success of the team.
  • Perform on‑site logistics lead duties during weekends and holidays when required.
  • Participate in goal setting, performance reviews, and recognition activities.
  • Update and develop new Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) as tasks change or new high‑risk tasks are identified.
  • Collaborate with logistics functions from other sites to develop and deploy best practices and establish common processes.
  • Backfill for Logistics Manager when on PTO, travel, or other absences.
  • Adhere to safety and protection policies and procedures and identify safety risks to improve safety precautions.
  • Lift up to 28 pounds and carry for 40 feet several times daily as required.
  • Travel to other sites as required.
  • Work the 1st shift.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret).
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with logistics operations.
  • Leadership experience in logistics operations.
  • Experience with OSHA and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience in logistics operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP – PRISM, RAYTRAK, & APEX.
  • Knowledge of global trade standards and processes for both imports and exports.
  • Active DOT and IATA certifications and detailed knowledge of DOT/IATA shipment standards.
