CDL Class A Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and designated routes.
• Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure proper functioning and report any defects.
• Load and unload goods following company and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and comply with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any problems immediately.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience driving commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading freight.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules as needed.
• Ability to use electronic logging devices (ELDs) and related technology proficiently.

Pay

$26.50-$32.50/hour (based on experience)

$3,000 Sign On Bonus
- Must be hired and complete the following days to be eligible for the bonus.

• $1,000 at 90 days
• $1,000 at 120 days
• $1,000 at 1 year
