Position Summary
The Merchandise Van Driver provides essential transportation support during the Blue Knights Drum Corps tour. This role involves driving corps staff, supplies, and small equipment between locations to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive corps vehicles (vans or small trucks) safely between housing sites, rehearsal locations, and competition venues. Normally with a trailer attached.
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and fuel levels are maintained.
- Support the operations team with errands and transport needs as assigned.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines while representing the Blue Knights.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving larger vehicles preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and transport light to moderate equipment.
- Strong reliability and attention to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during the tour.
