Position Purpose
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. - Base pay $1,600 per week
- Weekly bonus pay $375
- $10,000 performance bonus
- Additional pay for overnight or mountain routes
- Opportunity for pay increase at 6 months
- Potential earnings up to $100,000 in first year
Monday – Friday (no weekends). Dispatching times: 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM. Overnight or mountain routes may be required.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
- Report all safety issues, repairs required, and any hazards.
- Inspect trailer workload for proper loading and securing of freight.
- Count items, verify invoices, and ensure accurate paperwork.
- Move tractor to loading dock, attach trailer.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders following schedule.
- Unload products, transport to customer storage areas, perform damage control checks.
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures, collect money if required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer, secure doors.
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured.
- Unload damaged goods and returns; clean trailers; keep equipment and area clean.
- Complete daily hours of service log per DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and secure equipment at shift end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Valid CDL‑A license.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Hold current DOT health card or able to obtain one.
- Able to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move product cases ranging from 10–35 lbs up to 60–90 lbs.
